This position will also process all restriction, amendment, and accounting of disclosure requests. **JOB QUALIFICATIONS** **EDUCATION** _For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation._ **Minimum Required:** + Completion of medical terminology course within one year of hire. **Preferred/Optional:** None. **EXPERIENCE** **Minimum Required:** + Three years in healthcare setting, preferably in HIM department and/or release of information. + Experience with electronic health record systems. **Preferred/Optional:** + Previous experience with worker’s compensation and disability claims. **CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES** _The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position.
