LRR - RWA/Basel Implementation Senior Analyst

Job Background and Purpose

Citi as the leading global bank is present in 100+ countries, 16 of which are in Asia.  In each of these countries the Central Banks and other financial regulatory bodies require the timely and accurate reporting of prudential requirements and other monetary statisticsIn order to execute the system implementation programs in a more efficient manner, Citi is setting up a team to support the Asia country programs and the reporting processes. The team will work closely with representatives in the Asia countries such as Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and India in meeting the countries’ reporting obligations to their specific regulators

RWA Project Management

Leading, tracking and driving the progress of the requirements workstream of the programMonitoring effort and deliverables to ensure the work stream delivers according to milestones Organizing and leading regular discussions with the relevant business, finance, technology and operational groups as required by the work stream of the programAssist in the creation of presentations to the program Steering Committees and other governance committees for reporting project progress and escalating issuesWorking closely with country Controllers, Risk, Technology and Operations teams to identify and resolve project dependencies and risks

Requirements Phase

Asia RWA/Capital adequacy local regulatory returns requirements and its interpretation in liaison with SMEs and Technology colleaguesIdentify critical information / data and its expected values for regulatory report forms / schedulesSubmit and discuss documentation to source data from a central database, specifying the actual requirement, expected values, and checks required for the data to be consumedClearly document and discuss requirements on data issues by interacting with multiple functions like country Controllers, Credit and Market Risk Managers, Technology Teams, etc

Testing Phase

Complete UAT through Test Scripts in partnership with other project team members

Others

Deliver Data Quality review of identified data in partnership with other workstreamsSupport other local regulatory reporting change management activities, requirements tracing and rules governanceLead/participate in other transformation initiatives to support Finance’s journey to become Best-in-Class Finance

Knowledge and Experience

6-9+ years background in transformation projects / hands on project management experience (preferably related to the implementation of regulatory reporting systems)Prior experience in financial sectorHigh caliber person having strong analytical skillsAbility to engage with senior managementCapital Adequacy and Financial reporting experience preferable (project management and/or BAU reporting)Market Risk RWA experience preferableAdvanced JIRA, MS Excel knowledge and PowerPoint

Strong planning & organizational skillsEfficient and effective time managementStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work with multiple functions Excellent analytical skills

Qualifications

University degree in finance/accounting/ITCPA/CA preferredPMP Certification is advantageous
