Job Summary
The Robotics Service Technician will install and test products and provide customers with instructions on the proper usage and maintenance of Roca machines. Their work involves a variety of machine, bench, and hand operations requiring skill and accuracy and a thorough knowledge of machinist trade to repair, maintain and install a variety of machine tools, apparatus, and equipment. The role will be responsible for creating, building and executing the program vision for the ongoing and preventative maintenance and repairs of the Roca machines for enterprise customers.
Essential FunctionsPerform highly diversified duties to install and support machines for Roca enterprise clients (ex. build and install units, including the making up of brackets, braces, hangers, etc. and perform necessary operations to secure and assure permanence).
Create, update and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Collaborate with Roca Customer Service to author and update documentation, manuals and training materials on the maintenance for Rocas and other equipment, to ensure the successful transfer of information on how to maintain equipment.
Collaborate with the Roca Customer Service department and the Roca team throughout the project lifecycle to support the development of useful, supported Roca machines.
Support Roca enterprise clients with remote hardware customer service to diagnose problems/issues
Provide scheduled and emergency repairs of production equipment during production and off hours.
Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
Replace/repair damaged, worn, and defective mechanisms or parts and reassemble machinery.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Secondary FunctionsPerform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and Roca machines and mechanisms.
Consult on improvement projects related to the hardware and software of ROCA machines.
Collaborate with teams in creating maintenance documentation, logging/creating instruction manuals and safety protocols around new machinery.
Assist with secondary testing of software releases in order to validate functionality prior to application of updates.
Participate in other various improvement projects related to machine technology.
Competency (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)Enterprise support and maintenance experience
Prior mechanical and low voltage electrical assembly (or related) experience
Usage of basic hand and power tools
Strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to follow instructions and training
Ability to perform repetitive tasks with an attention to detail
Ability to work unsupervised to meet deadlines
Clear written and verbal communication
Basic computer skills
Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or G.E.D.
Experience using and maintaining production machinery in the workplace
2+ years experience in a mechanical related field
2+ years of experience supporting and maintaining enterprise level clients and machinery
Preferred QualificationsExperience working with the ROCA machines both in process and in maintenance
2+ years experience in a leadership role
Experience working with Jira software
Experience with Agile systems
Six Sigma Certification Up to Green Belt

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:
$44,000 - $91,800Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
