The candidate will assist in developing innovative technical and non-technical solutions and methodologies to DoD-wide problems within internal & external cost/schedule/capability constraints. Work with senior leadership to estimate and plan resources to implement plan across TRMC PE and Service T&E budgets.
The Department of Defense (DoD)’s Test Resource Management Center (TRMC) plays a critical role in support of delivering capabilities faster to the warfighter. TRMC ensures that DoD components have the necessary test and evaluation (T&E) infrastructure to research, develop, field, and sustain military systems.
An important thrust within the TRMC is the T&E infrastructure and tools to support robotics and autonomous systems. We are seeking a mission aligned professional to support our priorities in this area, serving as an operations manager for a growing team.
Responsibilities:
Support robotics and autonomy testing initiatives across the DoD by tracking key threads, maintaining momentum, and adapting to emerging prioritiesCollaborate with Technical Program Managers to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency across multiple projects and teamsStakeholder Engagement & CollaborationElicit, prioritize, and reconcile requires, needs, and desires from DoD mission partnersCoordinate across multiple teamsServe as a liaison to ensure consistent communication and alignment across stakeholdersCommunications & ReportingPrepare executive briefs and white papersPrepare administrative reports for TPMsCapture meeting decisions and manage action item logs through to closureMaintain collaboration platforms (e.g., Confluence, Jira) and create program dashboardsIdentify process bottlenecks and recommend efficiency improvementsDevelop visual materials (diagrams, infographics, dashboards) to simplify complex conceptsCoordination & ExecutionMonitor schedules, deliverables, and resource allocations across multiple projectsTrack and report on risks and issuesWork EnvironmentOperate in a fast-paced work environment that requires maturity, discretion, and a self-starter mindsetWhile many responsibilities can be performed remotely, in-person attendance is expected and varies based on the classification level of the work performedRequirements:
Bachelor’s degreeThe ability to obtain an Active TS Clearance5+ years of project management experience supporting DoD programsExcellent oral and written communication, synthesis, and briefing skillsPreferred Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI ClearanceProficiency with collaboration platforms like Atlassian Confluence and JiraDemonstrated visual communication skill that simplify complex technical conceptsLocation: Washington, DC Metro Area
