The Robotic Technical Product Specialist will be based in (Toscana or Emilia Romagna) and will look after Central Italy regions (Emilia Romagna, Toscana, Marche, Umbria, Abruzzo).
Italy is responsible for executing plans focused on robotic platform and identifying and developing strategic business in relationship with group purchasing organizations and other potential public customers, working closely with the recon sales and marketing team.
The Robotic TPS will be responsible to train Hospital staff and to support OR activities, creating awareness and trust in our Real Intelligence products portfolio.
The opportunity is ideal for an experienced person in Medical device Market and mainly in multi-national environment.
S&N is creating this new position to support the growth in robotic-assisted surgery with dedicated resources.
The Robotic TPS will be accountable to develop growth focused on sales budget, build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities with key healthcare funders, closely working with Commercial teams to care business deals and to train customers and maintaining extensive knowledge of current market trends. The role will work closely with Orthopedic Sales and Marketing teams to create and recommend commercial strategies, develop effective tracking metrics and exploit business opportunities to maximize revenue stream for the company.

What will you be doing?
Accountable for the sales forecast and sales budgetProvide and facilitate technical expertise through OR assistance to the existing accounts and potential new customersArrange and set up product trainings for customers and sales forceConduct research in partnership with the Italy Orthopedic Sales Team and marketing team to identify new potential accountsHandle objections and use a variety of skills to persuade and negotiate appropriatelyProvide honest feedback and after-sales supportResponsible to grow and retain existing accounts by introducing and launching new product ranges and software associated to the respective technologyAttend to major conferences to provide marketing insights and driven inputsFind opportunities for campaigns, services and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in salesUsing knowledge of the market and competitors benchmarking to develop unique selling proposition and differentiators messagingExecute the Italian marketing strategy and cooperate with Cluster organization to make sure the major robotic country develop the right servicing and maintenance infrastructureEfficient communication these to appropriate internal partners in a timely manner to help develop new opportunities and optimize alignment through cross-franchiseWhat will you need to be successful?
Experience & Requirements
Bachelor’s science degreeExperience in Medical Devices, ideally Medtech Industry (Robotics)Ideal background in Ortho fieldDemonstrated effectiveness in prospecting and developing new businessDemonstrate understanding and application of complex sales techniques and track record creating, negotiating and closing large-scale dealsMulti-national / cross cultural project management experience preferredProven ability to define and operationalize salesExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English and ItalianProficiency in MS Office, PowerPoint, OutlookExpected to travel 80 % of the time (central Italy)Focus on region: Central Italy (candidates to be based in this area)Skills
