Job Responsibilities:
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Program robot paths, set up program structure and implement offline programmingConfigure robot IO, weld interface and program callSet up structure for robot programsProvide robotic support and training as requiredDevelop and control program structure as jobs progressWork on Robot drawings and configurationsTrain and work with other programmers to enhance skill levelRead and interpret electrical blue prints, schematics and specificationsOrder materials for RobotsAnticipate and solve robotic problems (troubleshoot)Operate various tools and equipment including precision equipment (testers), megger, scopeFastening down of tooling and robotsWork closely with Robotic Supervisor regarding projects, monitoring workload and deadlinesPerform assigned tasks in a safe manner and know how to properly lock out all energy sources, including stored energyConsult your Supervisor/Assistant Supervisor if you are not 100% sure of how to perform tasks in a safe mannerPerform other reasonable duties as requiredMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Hands-on experience programming robots Fanuc and/or Kuka (# of years determine level)Good understanding of IO, transfer of information between Robot and PLC, and PLC functionalityGood understanding of robot program flow and basic programming theoriesKnowledge of the CSA Z434 and RIA robotic safety standards and how they applyExperience in robotic spot welding, mig welding, material handling is requiredPractical experience and good understanding of electrical circuitry and wiringSound mechanical ability to work on robot dress packages and peripheral equipmentMust have own toolsComputer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel and AutocadSuperior mathematical and organizational skillsGood verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work as a team member and individuallyWORKING CONDITIONS:
