Join us at Thermo Fisher Scientific for an outstanding opportunity to advance your career as an R&D Scientist in Vilnius. As part of our team of Cell Biologists, you will work collaboratively on international projects, developing innovative products and assays for cell therapy customers.

ResponsibilitiesWork in the field of cell biology and immunology, developing tools and methods for use in product functionality and quality analysis.Design research experiments in collaboration with the project team and perform these experiments independently.Document study results in comprehensive reports and present findings to peers and collaborators.Validate immunoassays and bioassays in accordance with ICH guidelines.

RequirementsBachelor or Master degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry, or another life science-related field.

Desired technical skills:
(1) Enzyme immunoassays (ELISA, WB, etc.)
(2) Mammalian cell culture
(3) Flow cytometry and Microscopy
(4) Beads/microspheres-based cell isolation and activation
(5) DNA/RNA analysis by qPCR
(6) Commonly used procedures for protein analysis (SDS-PAGE, UV spectrophotometry, etc.)General knowledge in statistical methods.High motivation to work in a fast-paced environment.Strong team skills in a collaborative and transparent working environment.

Compensation

The monthly salary range estimated for this position based in Lithuania is €2 183,33–€3 270,83.
