Responsibilities
+ Room patients, obtain vital signs, and document medical histories
+ Assist with urologic procedures (e.g., catheterizations, bladder scans, cystoscopies)
+ Administer medications and injections as ordered
+ Provide patient education on treatment plans and follow-up care
+ Support providers with clinical tasks and charting
+ Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards
+ Coordinate patient flow and contribute to a positive clinic environment
Qualifications
+ RN: Current RN license in Iowa; BLS certification
+ LPN: Current LPN license in Iowa; BLS certification
+ CMA: Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program; CMA certification preferred; BLS certification required
+ Urology or outpatient specialty experience is a plus but not required
+ Strong communication, multitasking, and teamwork skills
