About the Role/Unit:

The Peri Anesthesia Nursing Team Leader at Sinai Hospital facilitates safety, throughput, and efficiency amongst the perioperative departments for PASS, PreOp, PACU, CDC, and ASC. They are responsible for managing day-to-day operations by mentoring teams, implementing evidence-based practice, and providing necessary resources.

*This is a Full-Time position that will be scheduled for 4 ten-hour shifts from 11:00am – 9:30pm.*

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate day-to-day operations promoting patient safety and unit efficiency across the 5 Peri Anesthesia units: PASS, PreOp, PACU, CDC, and ASC. Participate and support department quality measures using evidence-based practice. Maintain strong clinical skillsets to support direct nursing care as needed.

Requirements:

Education: Associate’s degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred Licensure: Maryland Registered Nurse License Certification: American Heart Association BLS Certification, ACLS, PALS required. Certified Ambulatory Peri Anesthesia Nurse or Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse preferred within one year. Experience: At least 3-5 years of RN experience within PACU required
