This is a Full Time, benefited position with a 12 hour day shift schedule that starts at 0645.This Lead OR RN position is on the Spine team at Scripps Green in La Jolla. There is a bonus of $4K and a relocation incentive $3K to eligible new hires.
The lead will not have direct reports.The spine lead will work with other leads to ensure service needs are addressed. They are responsible for knowing all OR services at Green while mostly being assigned in Spine rooms. The lead will be responsible for helping train staff to the Ortho spine service line and work with leadership to address issues and problem solve.
Also, responsible for the management and coordination of patient care within the Care Unit on a per shift basis. This is accomplished through implementation and integration of the nursing process, through assignment and supervision of appropriate staff and in coordination and collaboration with physicians. The Lead RN functions as the Care Unit expert and provides functional direction to members of the Patient Care team.
