Find a fulfilling career and make a difference with UnityPoint Health! **Responsibilities** **What You'll Do:** + Clinical Practice – Provide clinical needs of trauma patients both directly and indirectly. + Research – Participates in multidisciplinary trauma research projects as investigator and/or coordinator. + Performance Improvement- Assists in the development, implementation and assessment of nursing performance improvement programs related to trauma care. + Education – Coordinates and collaborates on nursing educational activities necessary to meet the objectives of the Trauma Services. + Leadership- Assists in formulating Trauma Service goals and policies. + Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Coordinator + Supervisor- Evaluates daily staffing needs of Paramedics. Collaborates with others in the leadership team to facilitate adjustments that meet the department needs. + Professional Development- Supports a thorough and adequate orientation program for new staff and student interns. **Qualifications** **What You'll Need:** **E** **ducation:** Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing required. Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferrred. **Experience:** 1-2 years experience as an Emergency Department Staff Nurse required. Previous management experience preferred. **License(s)/Certification(s):** Required: Current RN Licensure in State of Iowa or applicable compact state. Must be licensed in state of residence.
