Job Summary
The Supervisor, Emergency Department is responsible for supervising and coordinating nursing care within the Emergency Department, ensuring optimal patient flow, quality care, and adherence to policies and procedures. This role serves as a clinical resource, providing professional leadership and operational coordination to support the department's mission and vision. The Supervisor works collaboratively with staff and leadership to enhance patient outcomes, staff engagement, and operational efficiency.

Associate Degree in Nursing required Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred 2-4 years of clinical nursing experience in emergency care required 0-1 years of previous leadership or supervisory experience requiredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong clinical knowledge of emergency nursing practices and workflows. Effective leadership and interpersonal skills to engage, mentor, and guide nursing staff. Ability to analyze and improve patient flow and operational processes. Proficiency in managing staffing and resource allocation to meet departmental needs. Strong communication skills to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and resolve conflicts effectively. Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards applicable to emergency services.Licenses and Certifications
RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required BCLS - Basic Life Support required ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred CEN - Certified Emergency Room Nurse preferred TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course preferred ENPC - Emergency Nursing Pediatric Certification preferredINDNUR
