\n\n\nPatient Population: Microvascular, Reconstructive/Plastics, ENT, Bariatric, Oral Surgery, etc.

\n\n\n\nUnit selling points: The only ones doing microvascular surgeries in North Texas! Continuous learning, teaching facility, magnet designated, and Bariatric Center of Excellence. ENT/Breast, Microvascular Dedicated Nurse Practitioner. 90% BSN prepared RNs. Specialty certification opportunities: RN-BC and CMSRN. 7 years CLABSI free, 2000 days CAUTI free, high Quality patient outcomes, leading BUMC. \nJob Summary
\nAs a Seasonal RN, you align with our nursing model, manage patient care, evaluate, recognize, create, implement care plans. Monitor patient progress is also vital. Your knowledge will help patients navigate the healthcare system safely, reducing complications. You will use your expertise to understand patient needs and the healthcare environment.

\n\nUsing good judgment and clinical reasoning, conduct thorough assessments following practice standards.\nIdentify patient and family needs, then develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans accordingly. \n\nSeasonal Commitment Information
\n\nFull-time Seasonal weekly requirements are three 12-hour day shifts (7a- 7p) for the 13-week contract (excludes 1st week of orientation)\n\n\n$1,500 completion bonus for meeting minimum productive time\n$51 Seasonal rate.\nEligible for shift differentials. $3.50 for evenings, $5 for nights, and $6 for weekends. These are stackable (as applicable by time/day) so if you worked a weekend night, you would be paid $51 + $5 + $6.\n\n\nWeekend requirements are the same as regular FT- Rotating weekends\nThe first week is Monday- Friday orientation.\nAlthough this is a short term (13 week) assignment, you would be a Baylor employee (not contractual, agency, etc.). The hope is that once the assignment is concluded, you will convert to a regular FT, PT, or PRN role. \n\n\nRegistered Nurse Requirements
\n\n\n\n\nAt least one year of inpatient hospital RN experience
\n\n\n\n\n\n\nGraduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLicense/Certification
\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRN – Registered Nurse
\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)
