The role you’ll contribute:
The Senior Manager Clinical Education manages the activities and team members in the Education Departments at the campus-levels to provide for the in-service and continuing education needs of employees and the coordination of student group activities. This highly visible role engages with campus leaders of all levels to ensure needs are met locally as well as from a regulatory standpoint. The Senior Manager works collaboratively with facility leadership, physicians, and other team members to support clinical and non clinical areas in the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive learning strategies. Develops strategies that are evidence-based and deployed across the division for consistency across campuses.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
· Provides divisional leadership for campuses in the development, coordination, and delivery of the learning and education programs in accordance with system philosophy and mission. Promotes standard work and best practice strategies across the division.
· Researches and facilitates standard implementation of evidence-based best practices for adult education and professional growth throughout the Novice to Expert continuum
· Leads quarterly evaluation of program effectiveness and compliance with division and local best practice plans
· Guides the education teams in standard work. Ensures timely feedback to leadership and integration of learning for initiatives
· Responsible for the oversite of the hiring process for campus education depts. Completes performance evaluation timely and is involved in employee counseling, coaching and termination per policy. Provides orientation for new educators and ensures compliance with department policy and procedure. Maintains high levels of employee engagement and job performance by providing recognition and opportunities for learning. Ability to appropriately handle stress and interact with others
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications :
· Bachelor of Science in Education, Nursing, or related field
· Current, valid Florida State of Nursing license as a registered professional nurse
· 2 years’ experience in a healthcare leadership position with demonstrated skills in team building, goal achievement, successful project management, education and consulting
Preferred qualifications:
· Master’s degree in nursing or related field
