Salary: $1430 / Week The 1:1 School Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the nursing process and delivering individualized student care within the school environment. This role ensures that all services are provided in alignment with physician orders and in accordance with the standards, policies, and philosophy of both the School District and Amergis Healthcare. Minimum Requirements: + Licensed as a Registered Nurse in state(s) where practicing + One year of school nursing experience, preferred + Pediatric experience, preferred + Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice + Current CPR if applicable + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable + Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements + Must be at least 18 years of age General Comments This is a unique case in which if the student does not attend school they will need to report to the home located in Oak Lawn to provide in-home nursing services. All school hours will be paid through Amergis and all homecare hours will be paid through Amergis Homecare. There will be a few hours after school the nurse will need to get the student situated before mother arrives home (5:30PM - 6:00PM). Modality: 1:1 RN Grade Level: Elementary 6th grade Male, Outplacement to a school outside of Oak Lawn.
