 BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking an experienced OR Registered Nurses to join our outstanding and compassionate float team. BayCare offers a variety of assignment options including: 

· System Pool- 13-week full time assignment for assigned O.R - unit provided schedule - block scheduling not available-assignments are based on needs of the system

. Seasonal Pool 13-week full time assignment for assigned OR-must meet mileage eligibility. Tax free stipend option available. MUST BE AVAILABLE TO START JULY 7th.

The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.

· The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care. 

· Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in the departments 

· Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment. 

· The Registered Nurse performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

Requirements:

· Registered Nurse license 

· BLS is required.  

· Associates Degree in Nursing 

· 2 years RN experience in an acute OR setting 

· Prior experience with Cerner EMR strongly preferred

· Must have independent transportation for assignments/shifts

Shift Hours: 6:30am - 5:00pm
