Summary:

The Operating Room RN responsibilities include: 

RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standardsRN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care teamRN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization RN also preforms the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

This position requires a minimum of 2 years RN experience. For this position, we strongly prefer at least 1 year of Operating Room experience as an RN for consideration, additional experience preferred. Trauma experience preferred.

 Certifications and Licensures: 

BLS (Basic Life Support) RN (Registered Nurse) ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department Preferred Nurse Specialty (CNOR)

 Education: 

Associate's Nursing or Nursing DiplomaPreferred Bachelor's Nursing

Experience: 

Required includes 2 years RN experience Preferred Experience includes 1 year Interventional/Perioperative Internship
