Serve as an education resource for patients and families on treatment planning and medical management. Assists patients with connecting to resources and support services Facilitates communication between healthcare team, patients, other departments, and outside entities by answering phone calls, responding to emails and messages to/from EMR and patient portal. Act as a liaison across multidisciplinary team to ensure proper orders, medical records, consents, and any other required documentation/criteria are received. Facilitates on time coordination of care with physicians and supportive services departments. Maintains a professional relationship with customers/patients and team members. Qualifications **What Will You Need:** **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:** Graduate of an accredited school of nursing 1 years of professional nursing experience **_EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:_** Bachelors degree in nursing 3 years of professional nursing experience in oncology **LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:** Current valid State of Florida RN license. Basic Life Support (BLS) **_LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:_** National Certification: Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) through the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation.
