It takes a special kind of person to become a nurse and we’re hoping that you’re one of those special people who would like to be a BayCare nurse. BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking experienced med surg/tele nurses to join our outstanding and compassionate staffing resource office team. Region Core Float Pool- Full-time. 3x12 hour shifts per week to include every 3rd Friday and Saturday, and 2 Sundays in 6-week schedule. Holiday commitment includes summer and winter holiday, and hard to fill staffing day. Required to float to a region of hospitals based on census needs. Region 1includes St Anthony's, Morton Plant, Mease Dunedin, Mease Countryside and Morton Plant Northbay Hospitals.

Region 3includes Bartow Regional, South Florida Baptist and Winter Haven Hospitals.

Requirements:

· Registered Nurse license 
· BLS (American Red Cross or American Heart Association)
· Associate's degree in nursing 
· 2 years RN experience in an acute Med/Surg/Tele setting 
· Prior experience with Cerner EMR strongly preferred
· Must have independent transportation for assignments/shifts
· Must be able to pass Tele test during orientation
·Flexibility

Shift Hours: days

Shift: 6:45am - 7:15pm

Weekend Work: Every 3rd weekend

On Call: No
