The nurse functions as a physician extender in providing therapies, related education, and telephone triage. **JOB QUALIFICATIONS** **EDUCATION** _For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation._ **Minimum Required:** Graduate of accredited school of nursing. **Preferred/Optional:** Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). **EXPERIENCE** **Minimum Required:** Minimum of one year Acute Care Nursing or three years’ general nursing experience. **Preferred/Optional:** Procedural, sedation and recovery experience strongly preferred. **CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES** _The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position.
