It takes a special kind of person to become a nurse and we’re hoping that you’re one of those special people who would like to be a BayCare nurse. BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking experienced PCU nurses to join our outstanding and compassionate staffing resource office team. 

 BayCare offers a variety of assignment options including: 

· System Pool- 13-week full time assignment for assigned department - unit provided schedule - block scheduling not available-Seasonal Pool-13-week assignment for assigned department and hospital-unit provided schedule-block scheduling not available. MILEAGE REQUIREMENT FOR SEASONAL POSITION WHICH IS OFFERED SEP-MAR EACH SEASON. ADDRESS ON DRIVER'S LICENSE WILL DETERMINE ELIGIBILITY. Assignments are based on needs of the health system

Requirements:

· Registered Nurse license 

· BLS/ ACLS(AHA) are required. 

· Associate degree in nursing (ASN)

· 18 months current RN experience in an acute PCU - Progressive Care Unit setting is required. 

· 2 years current RN experience in an acute PCU setting is strongly preferred. 

· Prior experience with Cerner EMR strongly preferred.

· Must have independent transportation for assignments/shifts.

· Flexibility 

· Travel Nurse experience preferred.

Status Pool, Exempt: No

Shift Hours:  645pm-715am

Weekend Work: Every Other for system and seasonal

On Call: No
