For a full list of benefits, click here (https://jobs.clevelandclinic.org/benefits-2/) . + Our Center for Workplace Violence Prevention and Caregiver Well-Being sets caregiver safety as a priority, identifying, reporting and responding to incidents and providing safety resources. **A caregiver in this position works days from 7:00AM - 7:30PM, with rotating weekend and holiday requirements.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Provide nursing care based on patient-centered outcomes and standards of care based on current research and evidence-based practice. + Monitor, record, document and communicate patients' conditions. + Safely administer patient care and treatments in accordance with the Standards of Safe Nursing Practice and institutional policy. + Safely administer medications in accordance with the Standards of Safe Nursing Practice and institutional policy + Involve the patient and family (or designee) in developing a plan of care individualized to patient cultural, religious and educational needs. + Participate in on-going interdisciplinary evaluation of patient/family outcomes and contribute to the improvement of care. + Complete mandatory education and training to maintain organization and department specific competencies and requirements. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program) + Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) + Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) + One-year of current acute care RN experience.
