In this exciting and rewarding position, you will provide exceptional nursing care for our patients. You will assess patient, family and staff learning needs, deliver appropriate clinical education, patient intervention and promote effective working relationships. As our RN you will independently provide specialized vascular access care, including Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC) placements, to both pediatric and adult patients in compliance with the California Nurse Practice Act. Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, implementation of nursing interventions and evaluation of outcomes while ensuring patient safety, infection control and quality of care. Your role involves educating patients, families, and staff, mentoring newly hired nurses and serving as a clinical resource for complex patient care needs. Additional duties include supporting professional development, assuming charge responsibilities, resolving conflicts and fostering effective interdisciplinary communication and collaboration.
