ABOUT TRINITY HEALTH LIVINGSTON PCU
We’re currently looking for dedicated PCU nurses to join our team on an acuity-adaptable unit within a small community hospital. Our unit cares for a diverse mix of patients requiring intensive, progressive, and even medical/surgical care. This acuity-adaptable model allows nurses to care for patients throughout their stay, reducing transfers and enhancing continuity and trust between patients and caregivers.

What you will do:
Gathers and analyzes patient informationDevelops, implements, evaluates and revises an individualized plan of careUses teach back methodology to educate patient and familyActively seeks to prevent potential hospital acquiredEffectively communicates patient status, priority goals and interventions during consultations, rounds and handoffsFollows all HIPAA policies and proceduresBehaves in accordance with the Mission, Vision and Values of St. Joseph Mercy HospitalsShifts Available: Nights Available - 12 hours/week
Status Available: Part time Every Third Weekend and Rotating Holidays are required for Full-time and Part-Time team members.
Required Qualifications:
Education
Graduation from a school of nursing that results in the ability of the graduate to sit for the NCLEX exam to become licensed as a Registered Nurse. BSN preferred.
Licensure
· Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) License.
· BLS.
· ACLS required for the following departments: Float Pool, Cardiac/Cath Lab, AICU, Emergency
Experience
Experienced RN’s encouraged to apply
