Amergis Staffing iscurrently seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) for Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) assignmentsin Brockton, MA!
Position Details:
Contract Length: 13 weeks (+ ability toextend)
Number of Openings: 2
Start Date: 9/15
Hours/Shifts/Schedules: 40 (4×10’s) / Daysw/variable start times (6a-9a)
On-Call: Night, weekend, and holiday call shift rotation
Setting:
Community teaching hospital
Position Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of recent RN PACU and/or Critical Care experience Experience in Phase 1 and Phase 2 in an acute care hospital setting + previous travel experience Pediatric and Pre-Op experience preferred Active MA RN license BLS and ACLS (AHA), PALS (preferred)

Thepost-anesthesia care Unit (PACU) nurse cares for patients who have under goneanesthesia. The post-anesthesia care Unit (PACU) nurse isresponsible for observing and treating a patient postoperation and making surethat they safely awake from anesthesia. The PACU nurse must monitor vitalsigns and levels of consciousness to make sure that the sedation is wearing offproperly, there are no adverse reactions occurring and patients are regainingconsciousness.
Minimum Requirements:
Current RN licensure in the state in which RN is working. ACLS and PALS certification per contract requirements.
