Job Description:Seeking a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to serve at Oak Crossing, Essentia Health's highly rated long-term care facility in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. This RN or LPN works 6:00 am to 6:30 pm, three shifts one week and two the next. This schedule includes every third weekend, and a holiday rotation is required. A $15K sign-on bonus is available for RNs with a BSN, and $10K is available for RNs with an ADN.

Education Qualifications:BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing.

Registered Nurse ($33.69-$55.04 based on experience):

Responsible for organizing and providing care to residents through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions. Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.

Licensed Practical Nurse ($24.94-$37.41 based on experience):

A care giver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of primarily elderly patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and other health care team members. Works both cooperatively and independently, to work efficiently under stress.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:Current nursing licensure in the state of Minnesota upon hire.AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 1 month of hire.
