RN - NICU Registered Nurse, Weekend Package
**Employment Type:** Part time **Shift:** 12 Hour Night Shift **Description:** **Title:** **RN, Weekend, NICU** Department: **NICU** Status: **.6/PT (Saturday & Sunday)** Hours: **3rd shift. 6pm-6:30am** **NICU staff will provide one on one care with newborns following delivery, including attending all deliveries in the Birth Center for term and preterm newborns. This includes conducting physical assessments, monitoring and administration of medications. NICU staff work closely with physicians, respiratory therapists and laboratory personnel to fulfill each patient’s plan of care.** **Working a rotating night position, staff are assigned every third weekend and holiday. Working primarily 1800-0630, this Friday/Saturday weekend package position will have every sixth weekend off.** **NICU staff will be cross-trained to Pediatrics to take patients admitted to that unit, in addition to crosstraining to care for postpartum couplets.
