Collaborates with other nursing staff and other allied disciplines to ensure that a safe and therapeutic environment is maintained for all patients **The orientation period is specific to the orientee and the unit in which you are working. The average medical surgical orientation is approximately a 12- week residency program. Preceptors will be assigned to you for the duration of your orientation. The clinical educator who supports your unit will remain with you through your orientation period and beyond.** Required Qualifications: · Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred · Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts · Basic Life Support (BLS) required **As a health care organization, we have a responsibility to do everything in our power to care for and protect our patients, our colleagues and our communities.
