Responsibilities + To assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care at Registered Nurse skill level, in collaboration with the Allen Women’s Health Senior Clinic Administrator, supervising medical providers, and Iowa Department of Health and Human Services + To function as a care provider when adequately prepared so that the optimum quality of patient care is maintained according to the philosophy and objectives of Allen Memorial Hospital and Iowa Department of Health and Human Services. + To exercise accountability, responsibility, authority, and autonomy and to act as a role model and resource person with expanded theory and expertise. Qualifications + Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. + Experience of at least 1 year in OB/GYN. + Must have a strong back ground in Obstetrics and Maternal Health. + Current license in the state of Iowa. + Demonstrated competence at the R.N. staff nurse skill level. + Ability to plan, assess, implement, and evaluate the nursing care delivered to Family Planning/Gynecological patients. + Ability to assume responsibility for personal and professional growth. + Demonstrated understanding of the Nurse Practice Act and Minimum Standards for Nursing of the state of Iowa and compliance thereto. + Able to meet the physical demands as described in the ADA forms on file in the Human Resources Department.
