Position Summary: Responsible for the delivery of comprehensive nursing care and the supervision of care delegated to other members of the health care team. Using the nursing process, the RN collaborates with the patient, family, and other members of the team to formulate, coordinate, implement, and evaluate the plan of care based on data collected from knowledge of the biological, physical, spiritual, behavioral, and psychosocial assessment of the patient. The RN accepts individual responsibility and accountability for providing excellent service, nursing care, and a positive customer experience. The Medical Oncology Registered Nurse will primarily work in the provider clinic with Oncologist. The RN will also be trained in infusions/chemotherapy. Education: Current State license as a Registered Nurse Skills: Current Basic Cardiac Life Support from America Heart Association License: Current State license as a Registered Nurse Preferred Qualifications: Education: Current State license as a Bachelor Prepared Registered Nurse License: Current State license as a Registered Nurse in Ohio and Michigan Years of Experience: Preferred to have one year or greater of oncology experience Certification: Preferred to have OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) or will obtain as set by Leadership ProMedica is a mission-driven, not-for-profit health care organization headquartered in Toledo, Ohio.
