Salary: $42 / Week Max $3,405.50/wk pay package (check out the attachment) 2 NOC shift openings 7pm-730am Required Qualifications: 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience Graduate of an accredited nursing program. License, Certification, Registration Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided) Basic Life Support Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing or related field. Five (5) plus years of recent experience (must have occurred within the last two (2) years) in Labor and Delivery is preferred One (1) year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two (2) years High Risk OB experience preferred The Labor and Delivery nurse assumes responsibility andaccountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery ofpatient care in the L&D Setting. TheLabor and Delivery nurse demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments inan effective and efficient manner with supervision. The labor and delivery nurse works with Mothers during thefinal stages of pregnancy helping with birthing, monitoring the Mother’s vitalsigns, and becoming astute in signs and symptoms of possiblecomplications. The labor and deliverynurse is involved in patient education and addressing the psychosocial needs ofMothers after delivery and demonstrates critical thinking and performanceability in the coordination of patient care. Consistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountablein managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patientcare.
