Responsibilities We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Internal Medicine Clinic team in Iowa. The Clinical Nurse will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care by supporting internal medicine providers, coordinating care, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. This role is ideal for a nurse who thrives in a fast-paced outpatient setting, values teamwork, and is committed to improving the health of adult and geriatric patient populations. Key Responsibilities: + Room patients and collect vital signs, medical history, and medication lists + Perform medication administration, immunizations, and injections as appropriate to licensure + Triage patient concerns by phone or in-person and provide clinical advice under provider direction + Assist with diagnostic procedures, in-office treatments, and chronic disease management + Provide patient education on disease prevention, medication adherence, and follow-up care + Accurately document all patient interactions and procedures in the EMR system + Review and manage incoming test results, provider messages, and patient communications + Support care coordination, including referrals, prior authorizations, and follow-up scheduling + Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with clinic protocols + Uphold HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control standards Qualifications + Graduate of an accredited nursing program + Current Iowa license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) + High school diploma or equivalent + Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification + Mandatory Reporter training (child and dependent adult abuse) – current or willing to complete + Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills + Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when needed + Strong attention to detail and patient confidentiality
