Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) in Long-Term Care is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for overseeing resident care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing leadership to nursing staff. The RN delivers high-quality nursing services while promoting a culture of safety, compassion, and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and physician orders.
Supervise, guide, and support LPNs and CNAs to ensure quality resident care.
Monitor residents’ conditions and communicate changes promptly to physicians and family members.
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations.
Act as a role model and resource for clinical staff, fostering teamwork and a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
Current NYS RN license in good standing.
Current BLS CertificationPrevious experience in Long-Term Care or Geriatric Nursing preferred.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
