The Site-Based Float Pool at Scripps Mercy San Diego and Chula Vista provides essential nursing support to Intensive Care Units (ICUs). Nurses enjoy flexibility, teamwork, and leadership support while floating between units. As a Critical Care nurse, you'll join a skilled team focused on delivering excellent care. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, and implementing patient care, while evaluating progress towards outcomes. The RN takes primary responsibility for patient care and collaborates with the care team to ensure optimal results in a family-centered environment.

Registered Nursing Degree from an Accredited School of NursingActive California RN licenseAmerican Heart Association BLS and ACLS Healthcare Provider Certifications1 year of recent adult ICU/CCU experienceMust be willing to float to other unitsBe able to speak, read and following instructions in EnglishHave excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate positive behaviors

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in nursingPrevious DOU/PCU or Stepdown experience
