Job Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferredMinimum 6 months previous RN experience required.Previous Emergency experience or Critical Care experience within the last 2 years preferredCurrent licensure as a Registered Nurse issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing.Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification within sixty days of hire, and maintained as current thereafter.Current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association. Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.Completion of a NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider) class is required at sites that do not provide labor and delivery services within twelve months of date of hire and must be maintained as current thereafter. Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum (TNCC) within twelve months of date of hire. Certification must be maintained as current thereafter. National Institutes of Health Strokes Scale (NIHSS) certification within six months of date of hire, and maintained as current thereafter.Emergency Nurse Pediatric Certification (ENPC) OR Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within twelve months of date of hire.
