This exciting weekday-only role focuses on strengthening our pipeline of compassionate, skilled Nursing Assistants while supporting initiatives that promote team member retention and clinical excellence. Location: 3400 Nebraska Drive, Bismarck, ND 58503
RN Clinical Education and Retention Specialist responsibilities:Instruct hybrid certified nursing assistant classes (classwork modules professionally created and available for students on-line); conduct all clinicals.Help support recruitment and retention – analyze Retain and employee communication to support adjustments and improve retention, partner with recruitment and provide hands-on support to ensure timely processes and increase community specific recruitment activities as needed.Work with Retain and follow up on all new hires, make face-to-face contact a minimum of weekly with all new employees as a touch point.Supporting employee communication – emphasizing utilization of Retain, helping facilitate town hall/department meetings as needed.Assist with Facility Orientation monthly – teaching the nursing part including the skills part i.e. lift transfers, hand washing, N95 testing (hood testing), Blood draws, etc.Work with nursing leadership to organize and conduct yearly skills lab for all staff as assigned and participate in survey prep/survey process and any other all staff meetings necessary over the course of the year.Other duties as assigned.
RN Clinical Education and Retention Specialist and requirements:Team player who has a passion for elder care and adapts quickly to changing situations.Registered Nurse, RN degree required.Human Resource benefits and payroll experience preferred.Prior TCU experience a plus.IV certified or in a current course.Must have knowledge of HR laws and processes.Experience working with HRIS systems, UKG/Workforce Dimensions experience preferred.Excellent attention to detail, numerical abilities and computer skills.Positive communication and customer service skills.Ability to take initiative, be proactive, and demonstrate flexibility.Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
