Location: St. Joseph's Hospital South – Medical/Surgical ICU – Riverview, FloridaStatus: Full TimeShift: 6:15 AM - 6:45 PMEvery other weekend requirementOn Call: YesAlways in person

Requirements:

RN (Registered Nurse) LicenseBachelor's or Higher in Nursing, Bachelor’s in Healthcare related field, or RN Professional Nurse Specialty Certification within 7 months or hire/promotion2-years' RN experience in the ICU in an Acute Care settingBLS certification with the American Heart AssociationACLS certification with the American Heart Association

The Charge Nurse – ICU responsibilities and skills:

Proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective managerial skillsActs as a professional role model for other members of the nursing teamResponsible for developing self and team members and sharing organizational informationPerforms the role of preceptor and charge nursePromotes evidence-based clinical care that exemplifies the pursuit of clinical excellence
