The RN(Cath Lab or Cardiac Cath Lab) specializes in working with patients undergoingcardiac procedures in a catheterization lab. During cardiaccatheterizations, these specially trained nurses assist the medical team bymonitoring the patient’s vitals, assisting with procedural sedatives, assistingdoctors, technicians, nurses and the patients.
Minimum Requirements:
Registered Nurse with a current state license where they will be working ACLS may be required by state/client contract Minimum of 2 years critical care or Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred Current CPR if applicable TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) Must meet all federal, state and local requirements Must be at least 18 years of age
