Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Pre-Op and PACU Registered Nurse, where you will play a crucial role in preparing patients for surgery and managing their recovery post-surgery. You will educate patients about pre-operative and post-operative care for both inpatient and outpatient procedures, ensuring comprehensive care plans are in place for every patient.

ResponsibilitiesSet up prior to surgery and manage recovery plans for patients after surgery.Provide and educate patients with pre-operative and post-operative care.Coordinate the patient's admission to the facility and present comprehensive plans for pre-operative care.Deliver immediate post-operative care and stabilize patients for return to the home environment, confirmed and approved by physicians.Coordinate pre-operative lab work and make pre- and post-op phone calls.Essential SkillsKansas Registered Nurse licenseMinimum of 1 year Pre/Post OP experienceAt least 3 years of operating room/surgery experienceExperience in ambulatory/outpatient/OR settingsWork Environment

Work in a surgery center unit with a Monday to Friday day shift schedule, consisting of four 9.4-hour days with no weekends. Days off are rotated within the week with coworkers.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $45.00/hr.
