Serving the needs of the surrounding communities, Willoughby Hills Family Health Center offers patients a wide variety of pediatric, family medicine, radiology and cardiology services. Cleveland Clinic’s Department of Dermatology provides expert diagnoses and treatments for all disorders of the skin, hair and nails, whether primary or related to an underlying systemic illness, including industrial-related conditions.

Caregivers in this role are expected to work Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm, or 8:30am to 5:00pm. Hours are variable and depends on the needs of the clinic/providers.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

Provide professional nursing care to a specific patient population in an ambulatory setting.Coordinate and resolve daily operational issues in the specified clinical area, while also ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety initiatives.Facilitate orientation, teaching, coaching and mentoring of assigned fellow caregivers, including assisting in the preparation of the department’s specific education for patients and colleagues.Participate in quality initiatives, process improvement and research activities to improve patient outcomes, patient experiences and patient safety.Collaborate with care coordinators to ensure smooth and effective transition of care.Potentially assist other physician clinics and procedures in the area.

Minimum Qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursingBasic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA)Minimum of two years’ recent experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)

Preferred Qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

BSNCharge nurse or supervisory experienceMinimum of two years’ experience with dermatology and procedures

Physical Requirements:

Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.Requires corrected hearing and vision to normal range.May requires some exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids.Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly (Constantly: activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time) to move objects.Even though the weight lifted may be only a negligible amount, a job should be rated Light Work: (1) when it requires walking or standing to a significant degree; or (2) when it requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls; and/or (3) when the job requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the weight of those materials is negligible.

Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
