Logan Health Whitefish is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to join our Birth Center team. About our unit: Our Birth Center is located within Logan Health Whitefish, a 25-bed critical access hospital in scenic Whitefish, MT. Offering 5 LDRP rooms and a strong focus on quality and evidence-based care, our department is the perfect environment to let your skills shine. What we offer you! + Competitive compensation + Additional PRN and shift differential pay + Perks such as fitness center membership and wellness coaching + 401(k) with generous employer match + Opportunity to work in a Planetree-affiliated hospital that promotes person-centered care and healing + Collaborative, supportive nursing culture committed to providing exceptional care What you'll do: This role offers the opportunity to provide care across labor and delivery, postpartum, and Level I nursery in a supportive, team-based environment. + Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in all areas of the birthing experience + Collaborate with providers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, evidence-based care + Participate in a culture of continuous learning, quality improvement, and shared success Who you are: + An experienced labor and delivery nurse + A calm, confident presence in high-stakes situations + You value strong teamwork and communication skills + Committed to patient-centered care and lifelong learning + Able to work both independently and as part of a team Qualifications: + Graduate from school of professional nursing required. + Current Montana RN License or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana; required. + 2 years related experience in similar unit is strongly preferred + Current AHA BLS certification. + Current NRP certification - within six (6) months of hire required. + AHA ACLS (OB oriented) – within six (6) months of hire required. + EFM – within six (6) months of hire required. Shift: Variable (United States of America) Schedule: PRN, 12-hour variable shifts. Shifts may include days and nights and weekends. Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed. PRN positions (also referred to as Casual, As Needed, or Per Diem) at Logan Health offer flexibility and are designed to provide coverage during busy periods, employee absences, and vacations, making them an excellent opportunity to support the team as needed. PRN employees can participate in a matching 401(k) plan and have access to the Employee Assistance Program. Additionally, they may qualify for hourly differential pay for certain shifts or hours, offering extra compensation based on department-specific scheduling needs. Pay rates and scheduling practices may vary by department.
