RMA / Test Coordinator

Position Summary The position will involve the testing and evaluation of customer returned material. the calibration of master meters and test stands. Conduct and report on production oversight testing. Coordinate the processing of internal RMA’s. Assist in the development of methods, processes, procedures and equipment that will improve the failure analysis process and/or reduce failures. Must be able to interface well with all areas of the business (marketing, customer service, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering) as well as outside vendors. Reports to Quality Assurance Manager Special Abilities Hands-on ability to operate various testing and laboratory equipment. Ability to facilitate and coordinate the processing of internal RMA’s Knowledge and understanding of a water meters, both from a mechanical and electrical viewpoint Ability to develop testing methods and programs, and to construct test setups for non-standard or unique applications Fundamental knowledge of the manufacturing processes and standards used in water meter manufacturing Working competency of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.) Ability to organize work and time efficiently to complete assignments within a given or specific timeframe Qualifications Position requires the minimum of an Associates Degree in an Engineering field and/or 2+ years experience in performing technical product evaluations and testing.
