Our Assistant Director of Nursing:


Assists in supervising healthcare team members to include hiring, training, evaluating and counseling within established policies and procedures Plans, implements, and schedules nursing services Provides intervention to respond to emergencies and problems Maintains medical charting and required documentation under scope state regulatory guidelines for appropriate licensing and corporate policies Assesses residents for change in level of care and coordinate billing for that level of care Administers and coordinate medications of residents
Works closely with residents and families to develop and implement appropriate care plans
Participates in rotation of on-call duty Follows OSHA compliance and back support procedures Maintains contact with physicians to facilitate medication orders, refills, supplies or transportation Follows established risk management procedures for residents and team members Promotes the Transforming Age Culture of Excellence Performs other duties as assigned

What you need to succeed!


Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, or the equivalent combination of education and experience Licensed as Registered Nurse in the state, or the ability to relocate and transfer licensure. Minimum of two years’ experience in Nursing; Experience in Assisted Living.  Understands and follows state regulations for nursing in assisted living communities The ability to speak, read and comprehend the English language Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong leadership and teaching skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products
