Aon Is Looking For A Risk Specialist: As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Healthcare business group within Aon Affinity in Fort Washington, PA, or virtually. Your Impact As A Risk Specialist: Aon is looking for a junior Risk Specialist to support and advance risk management strategies and best practices for the organization’s internal and external clients. This person is accountable for identifying, evaluating and developing risk-related mitigation education and techniques to support Aon Affinity’s Healthcare Division business and clients of Aon Affinity’s Healthcare Division brands. The Risk specialist will work with the Vice President and the Healthcare Business Leaders regarding professional liability insurance programs to create, organize, and support all aspects of risk management activities for internal and external clients that comply with state laws, regulations, standards of the profession, and accrediting and approval agencies. This position also supports the Business Continuity program. What the day will look like: + Create and deploy claims reports/white papers, articles and newsletters. + Manage content development for webinars and speaking engagements at Healthcare conferences. + Create continuing education materials for healthcare’s various CE programs. + Research, create, and manage ad hoc risk control content for internal and external partners. + Analyze claims and legal implications to develop customized risk assessment tools for internal and external partners. Skills and experience that will lead to success + At least 1 year of Healthcare industry and/or risk management experience + At least 1 year of Insurance industry and/or benefits experience + Strong working knowledge of Healthcare Professions + Strong research abilities + Strong organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills + Strong presentation skills + Adaptable/flexible + Travel required: approximately 30% + Knowledge of healthcare clinical fundamentals, patient safety standards, and performance improvement standards preferred + Building rapport with clients and effectively interacting with various stakeholders Education: + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience How we support our colleagues: In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage an inclusive workforce.
