Risk Manager II, GCP Controllership
Amazon is seeking a Risk Manager for Controllership on the Global Corporate Procurement (GCP) team. The Risk Manager owns the delivery of a seamless procure-to-pay process that enables geographic and market expansion across all Amazon’s businesses (World Wide Stores, AWS, Devices, Advertising, Logistics and others while ensuring compliance with the Spending and Transactions Policy (S&TP).

This role represents Procurement for all global expansion projects and other cross-functional projects with FinOps PMO. They are the single threaded leader (STL) who owns setting up the procurement system for all geographic and market expansions (including acquisitions), subsidiary integrations, and entity restructures.

In this role you will closely work with your internal team, legal, Accounts Payable and Vendor Managers as well as various internal and external teams to safe guard Amazon’s assets.

You will drive risk related reviews of SOX Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) controls for indirect procurement within Amazon - specifically in the areas of process design, internal control effectiveness, and other relevant areas to ensure that processes in procurement stay ahead of risks.






Key job responsibilities
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert on procurement for global expansions.
- Prepare the configuration of procurement applications.
- Conduct end-to-end testing of new entities with all FinOps verticals plus Legal, Tax, and Accounting.
- Maintain PO Templates for all legal entities.
- Troubleshoot to resolve issues timely.
- Communicate up/down/across the risks to expansions and future success.
