Title: Risk Manager - GME

Facility: St. Joseph's Hospital (Hybrid)

 

Responsibilities:

Responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with medical education, patient care, and hospital operations within the Graduate Medical Education (GME) framework. Collaborates with faculty, residents, hospital administration, and legal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, enhance patient safety, and reduce liability exposure. Develops and implements risk management strategies tailored to the unique needs of the GME program, fostering a culture of safety and accountability among trainees and staff.

Experience:

Required - 2 years risk managementPreferred - 3 years risk management in a hospital or educational settingFamiliarity with Graduate Medical Education programs is highly desirable

 

Education:

Required - Bachelor's Degree in nursing

 

Certifications:

Required - Registered Nurse (RN)Preferred - Certified Professional in Health Care Risk Management (CPHRM)
