Risk Manager

**Summary:**
The Risk Manager will join the People Risk, Privacy & Compliance (PRPC) team to work across our key partners; leading risk initiatives to scale our global program. Specifically, the experienced Risk Manager will partner with PRPC Leadership to support the end-to-end design and implementation of our risk management function with the objective of developing a shared framework across Meta People teams. This includes building the continuous design improvement of the HR org's global regulatory readiness program.
**Required Skills:**
Risk Manager Responsibilities:
1. Own the strategy and implementation of compliance activities for new labor regulation.
2. Assess new regulations for risk and influence prioritization of appropriate mitigations.
3. Support the design, build, and execution of industry leading first line of defense/second line of defense compliance management.
4. Collaborate with HR business owners to define program requirements, set priorities, and establish scope, which includes defining the roadmap and long-term strategy of the teams and respective leadership.
5. Manage cross functional dependencies, risks, and changes effectively by optimizing scope, schedule, and resources.
6. Develop and own communication plans to effectively and proactively convey program status, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
7. Define and track key metrics and performance indicators that align cross functional execution of program deliverables.
8. Drive process improvements across multiple teams and functions, including the reduction of manual efforts through automation.
9. Manage relationships both internal and external to Meta People organization.
**Minimum Qualifications:**

10. 10+ years of experience designing, implementing, and scaling regulatory risk management and compliance programs.
11. Experience in regulatory controls testing and monitoring.
12. Have working knowledge of employment laws and regulations, and willingness to quickly learn the content and requirements of various employment laws, regulations, industry guidance, and company compliance policies.
13. Analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale systems, and experience interpreting bottlenecks in complex systems and partnering with teams to resolve architectural issues, with experience adapting to new technology and participating in design discussions.
14. Demonstrate data analytical skills, goal-setting, and experience working with attention to detail.
15. Experience in end-to-end strategy, implementation, navigating business structures while maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
16. French Fluency in dialog and script type.
