THE JOB:
As a Risk Management Administrative Assistant, you’ll help drive the efficiency of our claims operations. With strong organization and attention to detail, you’ll support a variety of administrative functions such as data entry, evidence storage, claim file management, ensuring deadlines are met in the claims system, and handling daily phone calls and emails with professionalism. In this fast-paced environment, you’ll collaborate with multiple departments, build strong relationships, and provide direct support to the Director of Risk Management with requests and delegated assignments. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter who thrives on multitasking, enjoys working independently, and values teamwork across diverse departments.
THE STARTING RATE: $21
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Perform a variety of administrative tasks related to claims, including answering multi-line phone systems, responding to email correspondence, compiling data and statements, preparing reports, and maintaining claim databases
Copy, sort, file, and scan documents to ensure accurate and organized records
Collaborate with various departments and vendors, building strong and effective working relationships
Provide direct support to the Director of Risk Management with requests and delegated assignments
Schedule calls and meetings, as needed
Maintain the evidence room, ensuring items are organized and accessible, and coordinate pick-up and storage with labor staff
Maintain all office equipment as needed and coordinate repairs
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
1+ years of relevant experience in an administrative role or in guest service, preferably within a hotel or resort setting
