Risk Governance Program Manager

The newly formed Risk, Compliance and Integrity organization (RCI) brings together critical compliance, assurance, risk and governance functions across Google to help the company meet compliance needs and enable our businesses to innovate. Our goal is to make compliance an advantage for Google by driving scaled, and policy-based compliance programs. We manage our operations through risk-based prioritization and governance and consistent and constructive regulator engagement. The Business Operations and Governance (BOG) team, within RCI, is responsible for organizational transformation and execution, including the programmatic responsibilities for the Trust and Compliance governing forums and upward reporting to Alphabet’s Audit and Compliance Committee (ACC). In response to the growing scale and complexity of trust and compliance obligations, we operate a single executive governing forum with oversight of trust and compliance efforts across Google. By aligning trust and compliance, we can innovate ahead of current trends and enable RCI’s mission to make compliance a competitive advantage for Google. In this role, you will support the overall day-to-day management of Trust and Compliance governing forums function, which include the VP-level Trust and Compliance Steering Committee (TCSC) and SVP-level Trust and Compliance Council (TCC). The US base salary range for this full-time position is $107,000-$153,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google (https://careers.google.com/benefits/) . + Deliver accurate and efficient program operations support to the Trust and Compliance forums including topic scheduling management, executive communications, action item tracking, meeting documentation, meeting template management, attendee tracking, website maintenance and internal Program Management Office meeting agendas. + Support weekly program office and other cross-functional connection points including meetings, newsletters, and communications. + Drive alignment with other cross-Google governing forums and build bridges with key governance stakeholders within Global Affairs and other product areas and functional teams. + Improve governance operations by ensuring consistency and connecting topics/escalations with meeting logistics. + Collaborate with RCI leadership to integrate compliance considerations into forum operations. Support gathering and aggregation of metrics and upward executive reporting in partnership with the Enterprise Risk Management team, including content for reporting to the Audit and Compliance Committee (ACC) on Alphabet’s compliance posture.
