Risk Governance Lead
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Risk and Control Advisory team at Mercer Super. This role can be based either in our Sydney or Melbourne office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:
Enhance and coordinate the governance framework for risk management forums, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.Develop and oversee forward agendas for risk management forums, facilitating the creation of comprehensive materials for informed discussions and decision-making.Maintain central open issues from audit events, ensuring accurate and timely documentation and follow-ups.Act as a central point of coordination for risk management forums, promoting a culture of risk awareness and accountability across various business units.Monitor the effectiveness of governance forums and prepare reports on governance activities, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.What you need to have:
Tertiary qualifications in a business-related field.3-5+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, or governance roles within the superannuation or broader financial services industries.Proven experience in establishing and managing governance frameworks focused on risk management practices.Strong understanding of risk governance frameworks and the ability to apply them effectively in a financial services context.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.What makes you stand out:
